Nelson's Park and the Scera Pool

A couple of weeks ago we took Olivia to the park to play and feed the ducks.

It was so fun because the last time that we went to the park she was so scared of the swings and hated them, but this time she had fun and giggled while she was swinging.

We also got to feed the ducks some bread!

This park is one of the nicest parks in Utah County, I love it because it's so clean and pretty!

This past weekend we went to the pool and Olivia had so much fun, so much fun that she cried all the way home :(.

Cute Girl

Olivia wore this to church yesterday and it was sooo cute, so I had to get a picture of it. I know I'm lame, but I have no life and she's my little doll.

She has been doing and saying the funniest things lately. The other day she was very upset with me because she wanted to go to Nana's and I wouldn't take her so when Jared got home from work she ran to him and wouldn't leave his side and when I tried to go into the bedroom with her and Jared she pushed me out the door and said "no Mommy" and closed the door in my face. It was really funny I probably shouldn't have laughed but it was to funny not to. Anyways I'm sorry if all I do is talk about Olivia on this blog, Jared and I are just very boring people and I don't think anyone wants to read about what were up to unless you want to read about school, school interviews and work which really doesn't sound that interesting, so that just leaves writing about Olivia until something exciting happens to Jared and me.

Farm Animals

Olivia has a book about the animals that you can find at a farm and she loves animals so Jared and I decided to take her to the farm at Thanksgiving Point to see the animals in person.

Olivia's Pop and Granny Hiatt took her to see the neighbor's baby goats a week ago, so she was very excited when she saw a whole bunch at the farm.

We also went on a wagon ride and that was a lot of fun.

There was this very random little jail house in the middle of the farm, but Olivia thought is was fun!

18 Month Check Up

Olivia had her 18 month check up today! She's now 29 1/4" tall and weighs 20.2 lbs. So for anyone who cares that means she's on the 3rd percentile on length and weight, which is exciting because on her last check up she didn't even make the chart. Oh but her head is in the 90th percentile, so she has a little body with a big head :).

I know it's not her birthday or anything so this is kind of silly, but I thought it might be fun to post some older pictures of her.

4th of July

The fourth of July for our family was pretty laid back this year but we still had a fun day as a family. Olivia played in her pool, we had a barbecue with my family and then watched the "Stadium of Fire" fireworks from the outside of the stadium (Jared was so sad we weren't able to get tickets to see Miley Cyrus perform :).

I don't know why but 75 percent of the time I can never get Olivia to look at the camera and smile so this was the best picture I could get of her splashing around in her little frog pool.

Waiting for the fireworks to start! By the time they did start she was so tired that they entertained her for about five minutes.
I saw this cheesecake on TV and decided to give it a try.
For anyone who doesn't know I hate baking but love to cook and after making this cheesecake I hate it even more!

Shoes

Olivia loves to wear shoes, it's so funny! She not only loves to wear her own shoes but any ones shoes as well and if she sees that you're not wearing your shoes she will go find some for you and help you put them on. It's really cute and silly!Olivia thinks she's pretty silly too!

Seven Peaks

Last week Jared, Olivia and I went to Seven Peaks. Olivia loves the water so it was a lot of fun to go as a family. Her favorite thing there was the wave pool.
