 Love at first sight.

The scheduled c-section went really well, no exciting dramatic story to tell. Jared and I arrived at the hospital at 8:00 am and she was out screaming at the world at 10:02 am.

Olivia is the best big sister! She loves to help and take care of her little sister. I was sure that we would have some jealous moments and tantrums over the new little sister but not one yet.

We sure do love our Izzyboo, she's such a joy and blessing in our lives. 

2 Months

Today Isabel turned 2 months, wait maybe I should rewind 2 months! To be continued...

4th of July!

 We celebrated a fun Fourth of July with family and friends! We stared off the weekend with our annual Tiger's game. It was tons of fun until we got to our car after the game and saw that we had a parking ticket! Got to love the guy who charged us $15 to park there in the end that parking spot cost us $45. Oh well we will know better next time.

 We went to the Lansing Parade with Ty and Kari and the McKay family.

That night we went to the fireworks with the Prosser family and Ty and Kari. Meridian put on a really great firework show.

We had a great 4th of July celebrating this beautiful country that we live in and hope everyone else had a great day too!

A Look Back At 2010

Better late then never right?!! 2010 was a year full of adventure, fun, excitement, trials and blessings! Here is a quick look back at our year.

January 2010

Little Miss Olivia turned 3 on January 10, 2010 (Yes she is 4 right now, yes that's pathetic that I'm this behind).


February 2010

We bought Jared a heart shaped ice cream cake form Cold Stone.

My 25th Birthday!

Our family of three went on a fun and relaxing trip to Mackinac Island.

July 2010

My family came out to visit us. While they were here we went to Kirkland Ohio, Niagara Falls (Canadian side) and all over Michigan. It was so much fun!

Niagara Fall's was so BIG and BEAUTIFUL but the city next to it was so weird! I would say that it was a mixture of a mini Las Vegas and County Fair, it was odd, I always imagined that the falls were in the woods haha!


August 2010

Jared's sister and her husband moved to Michigan for school!(crazy) We love having family out here. And Olivia's Granny came out for a visit.


September 2010

Olivia started ballet in the fall. We love it now, but she HATED it at first! I told her if she would give it a try for one month I would buy her a toy lawn mower that she wanted so bad (silly girl) As of right now she has been enjoying ballet we will see how long that will last.

We spent Thanksgiving with good friends, missionaries and family.

What cuties everyone thinks my little Olivia is so girlie but that is further from the truth she is such a little tomboy who loves watching sports with her dad.
