We're Going to Disneyland!!!

Okay actually we already went to Disneyland and we had the most magical time! I'm so grateful to my parents who made it possible for us to have this vacation with them. It was so fun for Olivia and she was so excited to go and had the best time. I'm so happy that we were able take her at an age where things are still magical.
We flew into Orange County and met my family at the airport and off we went to our hotel. We staid at Paradise Pier one of Disneyland's hotels and it was so fun. I wish I would have taken a picture of our room because everything about the decor was Disney.

Here's the whole family at the hotel.

And now for the best part DISNEYLAND!

Matt, Josh, my Parents, Me, Isabel, Jared, Olivia, Jade, Chris and Cass.

 Walking down Disneyland's Main Street.

We watched the Disney Parade!

We did lots of standing in lines.

Chris and Jade

These two did a really good job standing in lines, since we went the first week in August it was HOT and busy but with Fast Passes for most of the rides and being able to get into the park an hour early with our hotel passes it really wasn't too bad.

Waiting to get onto the Indiana Jones ride.

 Love my Girl!

And this sweet baby was such a good girl I was a little nervous about taking a baby but it really wasn't bad at all.

She did lots of sleeping and smiling for the most part.

Olivia wouldn't wear the Minnie ears but Isabel didn't seem to mind them.

After standing in all those lines we were able to ride some very fun rides.
Pirates of the Caribbeans was Olivia's first ride, she was a little nervous and thought the pirates were real and asked her Daddy what we would do if the pirates took us captive. :) After she was reassured that they weren't real she relaxed and had fun.

Our second ride was Splash Mountain I was a little nervous about what Olivia would think about this ride but there was no need for worry because she loved it!

My little brother Josh having fun.

Jade with Isabel riding the carousel in California Adventure.

You can't go to Disneyland without riding Dumbo, unless your Jared who is a party poop.

Olivia and I on Splash Mountain, we are the two on the top. She made me stand in line with her for an hour in half one afternoon because she did not want to wait for a fast pass. Her little smile after the ride made it all worth it though.

Olivia, my Dad, Chris and Jade.

It's a Small World. Isabel was asleep so I didn't go on this ride but Jared did and he fell asleep during it thats how fun it was :).

Olivia, Josh and Jared

Space Mountain! This was one of Olivia's favorite rides, I think she went on it about 4 times. unfortunately we didn't get a picture of her on it.

Riding the bus down Main Street. (I think it's safe to say the kids were a little tired)

Pirates!

 Cars Land
The new Cars Land in California Adventure was AMAZING! It was just like walking down Radiator Springs. Since this attraction opened in June the lines were over two hours long so to avoid the mess we arrived to the park at 6:30 in the morning so we could get in the lines at 7:00 and the longest line ended up only being about 20 minutes, it was CRAZY how early we had to be there but worth it!

Jared and Olivia in front of Flo's Cafe

Lightning McQueen! He drove around and talked.

Radiator Springs Racers

Josh and I on the tractor ride

Josh gave Cars Land two thumbs up.

Jade in front of Cozy Cones Hotel.

We also met a few Disney characters...

 Olivia with Handy Mandy

 Pinocchio and Geppetto

 The Queen of Hearts

The Mad Hatter

Woody! Olivia was so excited to meet Woody. She really wanted to meet Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McGueen, Mickey Mouse and Merida. We met all of them but Buzz Lightyear :(

Merida from Brave

Cinderella with her Godmother.

 Toon Town

Mickey Mouse

We watched Junior Disney Live

As you can tell Jared and Isabel were really into the show.

We also Ate LOTS of food!

We had such a great time, its sad that its already over but we made great memories and if you ask Olivia what she loved about Disneyland she will tell you that she loved Cars Land, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Pirates of Caribbean! Hopefully we will go back again soon!

Last weekend we were able to go visit Ty, Kari and Carson in Wisconsin. Olivia was so excited she had been waiting for this weekend to finally come all summer. We had a great time hanging out with them and got to see and do lots of fun things in Milwaukee. Sadly I remembered to bring the camera but not the memory card :( but Ty took some great pictures of our adventures!

While we were there we went to the Sprecher Brewery tour (to see how they made soda, of course), a beach in Milwaukee, The German Festival, The Pancake House, had two very yummy BBQ by Ty and had tons of fun just hanging out! I'm so happy we were able to get the chance to go visit them!

After our tour at the Sprecher Brewery. Not to sure about the sign behind us :)

Enjoying our samples of unlimited soda.

One of the cutest families ever!

On the second day we went to the German Festival. It was fun just hanging out but its mostly based on enjoying lots of alcohol, so I don't think we enjoyed quite as much as most people do.

There was a little car show.

And we saw this random car boat, Olivia thought it was the greatest thing.

The festival had a little soccer game.

 Lots of food.

Shopping, we found a outfit that was $470.00, crazy!

This little guy is seriously too cute!

The Girls

Here are a few very random pictures of the girls.

A couple of weeks ago Olivia got new glasses. We went to the ophthalmologist about 2 years ago and found out that Olivia was farsighted the ophthalmologist was hoping that her eyes would improve with time but they haven't they have gotten worse instead and since she starts kindergarten this Fall she was prescribed glasses. And no she does not love them, she cried for about 3 hours straight the day we went and picked them up. But everyday she feels a little better about them.

Olivia likes to pretend that Isabel is old enough to have sleep over with her.

One with beautiful big brown eyes.

And one with beautiful blue eyes. (We'll see if they stay blue)

She's getting so big!

On the Fourth...

... we managed to get our Dad to put his books down long enough to go to a parade. Not the best parade ever but it was something to do plus who doesn't like to sit and watch a parade while they sweat to death!
Afterwords we went and had lunch at the park with great friends. Then we went home so Dad could study some more and Izzy Boo could have a nap.

And we ended the day with fireworks, of course!

3 Months

Our little Izzy Boo is 3 months! Time is going by so fast but at the same time it feels like she has been a part of our family forever!

The picture below is a picture of Olivia around the same age. Can you tell that they are sisters? :) Sometimes they look so different to me and then at times they look so alike, its funny. It will be so fun to see the similarities in the two as they grow up.

These days Isabel will reach out for her toys and if she grabs hold of them she will chew on them, she loves to blow bubbles and have conversations but her most favorite thing to do is to give a big cheesy smile :)

Swimming

We have been spending LOTS of days at the pool swimming this summer! Olivia is becoming a better swimmer every time we go to the pool. She loves to jump in the without her floaters and swim to the service and is able to keep her head above the water for a couple of seconds.

And this is how Izzy spends her days at the pool :)

Attitude? What attidude??!

We had a little get together with friends from church the other day and someone asked Jared if Isabel was a smiley happy baby or if she had sassy attitude like her big sister... I don't know if I should laugh about my daughter having a sassy attitude, cry or be embarrassed. We are working on her sassiness but what can I say my daughter is very independent and prideful and struggles to look at strangers when they talk to her which makes her come off rude but she's also the sweetest thing and loves to help others out and most of all she's the best big sister!

In the three months of being a big sister we yet to have a temper tantrum on her new little sister taking away attention from her, which I think is amazing saying she has been the only child for 5 years! I love my Baby Girl Olivia!!! (Oh and if you are wondering Isabel is a happy baby who loves to smile from ear to ear!)

Buddies

Last week Ty, Kari and Carson moved to Wisconsin, I guess after people graduate with their MBA they go and get a job. Weird. We were sad to see them go they aren't just family but one of our best friends.

This guy is too cute, I love him to pieces! She's pretty cute too.

We wish Ty, Kari and Carson the best in their new journey!

Cousins Isabel - Carson - Porter
How cute are they?!!!

Jared's mom got married on June 2nd and we went to Utah for the wedding (Jared's Dad passed away almost two years ago from cancer). Sadly this is the best picture I took of the couple.

Isabel was such a good baby and slept through the ceremony and dinner but screamed the whole time we were having pictures.

This is the smile I get out of Olivia these days. Love 5 year old's!

I love Jared's sisters, not every wife can say that their sister in laws are their best friends but mine are. And we have cute babies.

Isabel 2 months, Porter 4 months and Carson 3 months.
It's going to be so fun to watch these three grow up and play together.
